E Komo Mai No Ka ‘Oi Hale—Welcome to The Best House—is a community-driven 501(c)(3) dedicated to uplifting the people of Kalapana and Puna District on Hawai‘i Island through Community Infrastructure, Economic Development, Education Programs, and Heritage Preservation.

Hui Mahi‘ai ‘Aina

Hui Mahi‘ai ‘Āina (HMA) is a homeless community program that provides village style housing, essential facilities, and long-term support for those facing hard times in Hawai‘i. Founded by Aunty Blanche McMillan, the Waimānalo site features tiny houses for individuals and families, a food farm and communal kitchen, as well as visiting health and social services.

Lahaina Rising Film

Lāhainā Rising is a HIFF Award Winning feature documentary delving into the life-altering events of August 8, 2023, when the historic town of Lāhainā, Maui, endured one of the most devastating wildfires in American history. It is a locally-made, grassroots film, told and created by the generational families of Lāhainā for the community and for the world. 

La‘i Hauola

La‘i Hauola is a locally-operated 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to rebuild Lahaina with aloha by preserving Hawaiian culture and language, protecting our land and ocean, and supporting a strong, resilient community rooted in ancestral values.

Our Story, Our Future

Hawai‘i: Our Story, Our Future is an initiative to increase awareness of the history and emerging future for the Hawaiian Islands. A multi platform project featuring video, web, print and other materials, Our Story calls people to engage in new and existing programs that empower the Hawaiian people and ‘āina.

River of Life Mission

After 40 years in service to the homeless community of O‘ahu, River of Life Mission is meeting the crisis with an innovative, decentralized solution that empowers local community hub spots to feed, support and generate pathways for transition into programs and housing.

Leon & Malia Legacy

Award-winning composers, recording artists, performers and producers, Leon Siu and Malia Elliott form the versatile, creative team, Leon & Malia — whose works range from film scores to commercial jingles, to symphonic works, to children’s songs, to vintage and current Hawaiian music, to contemporary pop and exotic world-beats.

AHEC Hawai‘i 

The Association of Hawaiian Evangelical Churches (AHEC) was constituted by By-law approval in June 1994. By March 2025, thirty one churches and ten partnerships joined AHEC.

Inside Outreach Project

Inside Outreach is a Hawaii-based 501c3 charitable organization that mobilizes kokua for communities and individuals in need, with a focus on homeless programs, emergency relief support, ongoing clean up initiatives, and local entrepreneurship.

Hui Homes Maui

The Hui Homes program emerged in the days and weeks after the fires, providing transitional housing for survivors of the devastation in West Maui. With support from Made in Hope, River of Life Misison, Inside Outreach, One Love, Inspire Church and others, the Kauhane brothers from Big Island worked tirelessly to give those in need a place to call home.

Kanaka Maoli Institute

The Kanakamaoli Institute supports the regeneration of traditional Hawaiian and Polynesian spiritual and cultural legacies. Founded in July 2000 by Aunty Toni Auld Yardley, the Institute is re-emerging in 2026 in service to the lāhui of Hawai‘i and our ‘ohana across the Pacific.
